Today, Ashlyn help grandma make her famous "milkless, eggless, butterless cake" when we go home from church. It was her job to stir in the ingredients, and of course to sample the dough whenever she could. And while the women were in the kitchen cooking...
Gavin was taking a much needed nap. He is cutting his two year molars, and did not sleep well last night, consequently neither did mom. Hopefully he will do better tonight. Sleeping with a toddler is not my idea of a restful sleep.

e weekends Gifford has drill. The kids are still to little to understand what daddy does is protecting us all. All they know is that he is not here... Well, next week, we will be able to spend some time together again. Something we all look forward to.
